A STNA is a State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) also known as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). It is one of the most important roles on the healthcare team as they ensure patients’ quality of health everyday. A STNA is responsible for recording vital signs, dispensing medication, and helping a patient safely move from a bed to a wheelchair.
You must be at least 16 years old with a high school diploma or the equivalent in order to start your STNA certificate. You must also have up-to-date immunization records and pass a criminal background check. The majority of these STNA programs can be found at community colleges, trade schools, and even online STNA programs. You must then pass the required state exam and register online on the Ohio Nurse Registry in order to qualify for a STNA job in Columbus.

Currently taking my STNA classes here, Celeste is great, and really helps each student in individual ways. She makes the day go by fast but you're also worn out at the end because of all the stuff you learned. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a start in the health care especially if you like elderly (nursing homes) - Holly C.
